Financial analysis of agencies or enterprises is at times expanded into broader overall business plans. Plans address the organization's vision statement and mission, organizational structure, investment plan, and so on.

Completed studies:

• National water supply company master plan study, Suriname, 2010-11: corporate mission and objectives, structure of the executive, consumer relations, , operations, planning and development,  investment strategies, cost recovery, and financial management (with Genivar).

• Development of a Business Case for Investing in Flood Prevention and Control, Conservation Ontario, 2008-2009: Assessment of climate change, urban intensification, institutional and other factors affecting the status of flood management programs in Ontario. Preparation of a business case outlining investment requirements and related costs and benefits.

• Business plans and financial models have at times been developed for smaller for-profit and not-for-profit enterprises in support of successful funding applications. This work has been done on a pro bono basis.

The financial pro-forma developed by Mike is an amazing tool. Mike was able to tailor it for our needs as a retail food co-op with share capital. The gaming analysis tool allows us to quickly and easily test various scenarios.  Our accountant and the members of our finance committee are happy we have it because we can be more confident in our ability to make rational financial decisions.
